The Mountain course was laid out in 1910 by Alexander H. Findlay and was remodeled in 1931 by Alister MacKenzie, designer of AUGUSTA NATIONAL - home of "The Masters". With smaller greens and more tree-lined fairways, this course begs for the straight shot. The engaging design takes full advantage of the scenic vistas and will appeal to players of all levels. The Links Course ( pictured above) is laid out in true links style, with wide open fairways and large undulating greens. It will challenge and delight golfers at all levels.

• Our classes are never more than 4 students per PGA & LPGA Pro for your morning session at the practice stations, and never more than 3 students per PGA & LPGA Pro for your afternoon playing lesson.

• 9:00 -12:00: Practice stations for personal lessons with your PGA professional. We will also video tape your swing for a take home teaching analysis.
• 12:00 - 12:45: Lunch
• 12:45 - 3:00pm: On course play with your PGA & LPGA Professional.

Tall tufts of blue-gray fescue grass nod above our Scottish links-style golf course and give our club in Shoreham, Long Island, its name. The grasses make up part of the challenge as you're playing a round on our course. When playing Tallgrass, you will face more than 70 yawning bunkers, dune-like areas and acre upon acre of tangled native fescue. Once upon a time, the course was part of the Delalio family's sod farm in what was largely an area of agriculture. In 2000, the property was turned into a links-style golf course, reminiscent of traditional courses in the British Isles. It was designed by architect Gil Hanse, an up-and-coming East Coast designer, known for layouts that show respect for the land and that strive to turn natural landforms into obstacles for golfers.
